Every Day Carry (Black)
Newley designed every day carry kit is fully capable of dealing with extremity haemorrhage AKA bleeding out.
The kit may seem minimalist however this IFAK offers considerable capability for stopping traumatic bleeding.
Time is critical when treating severe injuries in the field and saving time increases the chances of survival for the casualty in an emergency or hostile situation. To be effective, haemostats need to work fast.
The current generation of haemostat agent require at least 3 minutes of compression to work. Celox Rapid Gauze removes the delay by speeding up packing time and reducing compression time to just 60 seconds, while using the proven haemostat technology of Celox.
The Combat Application Tourniquet (CAT) is a small and lightweight one-handed tourniquet that completely occludes arterial blood flow of an extremity in the event of a traumatic wound with significant haemorrhage.
True circumferential pressure is provided to the extremity via the windlass system with a free moving internal band that the CAT incorporates. Once tightened, the windlass is locked in place when bleeding has ceased.The CAT also has a Velcro Windlass Strap for further securing of the windlass during patient transport.
* Quickly controls life-threatening extremity bleeding
* Small and lightweight
* Cost effective
* Can be stored easily on the side of your belt.
Israeli Bandage White 6"
This 6" wide Israeli Emergency Bandage is the same as the original 6" Israeli Bandage. Like the original, it is an all-in-one device, consolidating multiple first-aid products. However it is not dyed as is the original, and for that reason it is more affordable, and perfect for non-tactical applications or where visibility is not an issue. It serves as a primary dressing, pressure applicator, secondary dressing, and features a foolproof closure apparatus to secure the bandage in place.
